Run 3D, created by GM and released on 15 October 2024, is a free online endless runner where a group of aliens sets out on a mission to reach the Sun, racing through a series of space tunnels floating between the stars and planets. The alien keeps running automatically, and your job is to guide it past unstable tiles, sudden gaps, and gravity-bending walls that can rotate the entire tunnel around you. One wrong move sends the alien into the void, so every jump and turn has to count as the tunnels grow more unpredictable the farther you go.

Run 3D is completely free to play and runs directly in the browser with no download or install required. Gravity Rotation

The signature feature of Run 3D is its gravity-rotation mechanic. Unlike standard platformers, you shift gravity by running into the tunnel's walls — move left or right into a wall, and the entire tunnel rotates so that surface becomes the new floor. This opens up creative ways to navigate around obstacles, dodge gaps, and pick the safest path forward, since the "floor" is never fixed for long and often the smartest route means deliberately running into a wall rather than avoiding it.

Tips for Winning at Run 3D

Watch a few steps ahead rather than reacting only to what's directly under the alien's feet, since unstable tiles disappear the moment you step on them and leave no room for hesitation. Use gravity rotation proactively — running into a wall on purpose is often safer than trying to jump over a wide gap. On wider tunnel shapes like octagons and ten-sided polygons, stay closer to the center of your current surface so you have more time to react to sudden gravity shifts. And keep unlocking new alien characters, since longer, more consistent runs are the fastest way to earn them.
