About Mad Day Special
Mad Day Special is a free online action game from SMOKOKO where aliens have invaded Earth and kidnapped your beloved pet octopus, Fluffy. Climbing into your truck's driver's seat, you smash through waves of aliens, jump over walls and bombs, and launch rockets to shoot down UFOs while racing to rescue Fluffy across the farthest route you can survive. Your truck has armor that absorbs damage from alien laser attacks, and once that armor drops to zero, you're forced to continue the fight on foot, jumping and dodging with nothing but your own reflexes.
The game runs entirely in your browser with no download or install needed, and it's playable using simple keyboard controls. The mix of vehicle combat, obstacle-dodging, and on-foot survival keeps every run feeling different, especially once you start spending collected candies on the in-game Wheel of Fortune for extra coins, armor boosts, and revival chances.

Managing Your Truck's Armor
Surviving the alien invasion means keeping a constant eye on your truck's armor, which takes damage from enemy laser attacks and from crashing into walls, bombs, or other obstacles on the road. Upgrading your armor, recharger, RAM, and launcher between runs makes your vehicle far more durable, letting you push deeper into alien territory before your truck gives out. Once the armor hits zero, you're forced to abandon the vehicle and continue on foot, where jumping and dodging become your only means of survival.
Candies and the Wheel of Fortune
Scattered along your route are candies that, once collected, let you spin the in-game Wheel of Fortune from the main menu's "Fortune" button. Spins can reward up to 500 coins, an armor power-up, or a revival chance that lets you keep battling even after being eliminated by an alien. Picking up every candy you pass is almost always worth the small detour, since the Wheel of Fortune can turn a rough run into a much longer one.
Tips for Winning at Mad Day Special
Jump often and early rather than reacting at the last second, since walls, bombs, and lasers tend to appear in quick succession. Landing directly on aliens smashes them instantly, so aim your jumps at enemies whenever the path allows it, and fire rockets early to take down UFOs before they can line up a shot. If your truck's armor runs out and you're forced onto foot, keep moving and jumping continuously — standing still on foot is the fastest way to get overwhelmed.
