Selling Loot and Upgrading
Once your backpack becomes too heavy to carry, head back home and sell your loot in the Shop area to earn cash. Spend that cash in the Upgrades area to improve your shovel, expand your backpack's carrying space, boost your energy, or buy a jetpack that lets you fly back to the surface instead of climbing.
Saving Your Progress
From time to time, save your game from the Home area to make sure your digging progress is tracked. Without a jetpack, falling too deep can leave you trapped underground, so it's worth saving regularly before pushing further down than you've been before.
Tips for Winning at Hole Digger
Keep a close eye on your energy bar — if it runs out before you make it home, you'll lose every resource currently in your backpack. Upgrade your backpack space early so you're not making constant short trips back to the surface. Save right before attempting a deeper dig than usual, in case you get stuck without a jetpack.
