Golfdash
About Golfdash
Golfdash is a free online arcade puzzle game that blends the thrills of golf with maze-style sliding puzzles. You guide a small white golf ball across a pixel-art course made of green fairways and white walls, with a black hole waiting at the other end as your goal. There are 30 levels packed with cryptic layouts, and each one asks you to think carefully about which direction to send the ball next.
The twist is that every level gives you a limited number of moves, shown in the top left corner as a counter such as 14 moves left. Use them wisely, because running out turns the counter red and ends the attempt, while sinking the ball in the hole before then lets you move on to the next course.

Courses and Walls
Each level is a winding course of checkered green grass bordered by white walls and gray ledges. Some layouts are long corridors, while others twist into L shapes with gaps and notches that can catch the ball in the wrong spot. Because the ball glides in the direction you choose, reading the walls ahead of time is the key to reaching the hole without wasting moves.
Limited Moves
A counter in the top left shows how many moves you have left, ticking down with each direction you choose. When it reaches zero, the text turns red and the attempt ends, so a careless first move can leave you short of the hole. Planning a route from the starting ball to the hole before you press anything helps you finish with moves to spare.
Level Select and Undo
The Select Level screen shows a grid of all 30 levels, with the first row open at the start and the rest marked with padlocks until you clear the levels before them. Buttons along the top of each level let you return home, jump back to the level grid, or undo your last move, which is handy when a slide takes the ball somewhere unexpected. A sound toggle in the corner lets you mute the game when you want to focus.
Tips for Sinking the Ball
- Trace a route from the ball to the hole in your head before your first move, so you know how many moves it should take.
- Use the undo button when a move sends the ball the wrong way instead of restarting the whole level.
- Look for walls and notches that can stop the ball exactly where you need it to turn.
- Replay earlier levels to practice short routes, since the first few courses teach tricks that help in harder ones.
