How to Play Logistics Inc
Your first screen shows a single bicycle line with zero staff assigned, five fresh employees waiting in the wings, and a ten-dollar note in your pocket. Click the orange "BUY 1" button beside the bike row to purchase that initial ride. The moment you do, orders start to appear in the left-hand column, and the orange bar in the Status cell fills up with every completed delivery. Next, hit the plus sign in the Staff column to assign at least one worker to the bike. A staffed vehicle actually moves; an empty one just sits in the depot looking pretty.
Expand the Fleet
Bikes alone won't build an empire, so reinvest your earnings in new vehicle tiers. After buying 5 of a vehicle type, the next type unlocks. Vans, trucks, planes, and eventually ships appear. Buy at least one unit of a vehicle. Some vehicles, like planes and ships, require more than one worker to operate. Assign your workers, and watch the orders get completed. Remember that higher-tier vehicles accept bigger orders but drain more cash up front, so pace your purchases with your hiring rate.
Manage Research and Development
Staff are the game's true currency, and you'll juggle them constantly. Every employee you assign to a vehicle speeds up its order cycle, while those placed in departments unlock vital support systems. Early on, drop a worker into the HR panel. HR hires new staff automatically. Slower than you might like, but entirely free. When the orange timer under "STAFF RECRUIT" hits zero, a new recruit walks through the door. Decide where they'll work next. Don't leave any workers unassigned. If growth feels too slow, head into the Research & Development tree and increase the staff in the RD center to unlock the Contractors upgrade. Contractors allow you to trade cash for instant personnel. But they are not cheap!
R&D is where the real snowball begins that deals with efficiencies that slash costs, speed up HR, and boost marketing power. Staff assigned here don't produce money directly, but every node they complete multiplies future income. It's usually smart to keep at least a small permanent team in R&D; the earlier you grab upgrades like Efficiency or Improved HR, the faster every other action in the game becomes.
Hire Marketing Gurus
Idle trucks mean lost profits, and the Marketing department makes sure that never happens. Open the Marketing Strategy window and drag staff into any of the colored bars representing bikes, vans, trucks, planes, or ships. Each marketing guru adds the order bonus written on the bar, and a running tally in the right-hand panel shows exactly what you're paying per staff member to double their output. Spreading a few people across multiple product lines keeps incoming orders balanced.
Keep the Wheels Turning
Vehicles wear down over time, and a sluggish fleet will choke profits. After hiring enough workers in the R&D center, you'll unlock Vehicle Maintenance. Here, hire mechanics by clicking plus signs beside empty slots. Each ride shows a maintenance fraction, bringing it to the maximum, and its speed instantly jumps to 100 percent. The Upskill buttons beside your mechanics let you train your mechanics to deal with more advanced vehicles. A bike mechanic cannot be tasked with planes without any training. They must be upskilled. But don't worry, training takes only a few seconds.
An Idle Tycoon Business
As revenues climb, swap the purchase multiplier at the top of the main board from x1 to x10 or MAX to buy vehicles in bulk. Your ultimate endgame is a perfectly balanced dashboard: zero idle staff, queues brimming with orders, every wrench icon bright green, and a money counter that refuses to stop spinning. Once you've hit that rhythm, the only question left is how many zeros you want on your company valuation.
