Gold Miner
Gold Miner is a legendary flash game where you drop your claw, grab gold, and haul it up before time runs out. It's like you're fishing with a rod, except you're on the ground holding a hook and catching shiny rocks instead of fish this time. Each level gives you a money goal, and it's your job to collect shiny treasures like gold mines and diamonds. Avoid useless rocks, and make smart buys in the shop. One wrong drop and your claw will be busy pulling a worthless boulder while the clock ticks away. And yet, you'll keep coming back for one more round. It's a browser game that has kept its charm even after decades!
Controls
- Drop Claw: Press the Down Arrow (↓) key when the swinging claw is lined up.
- Toss Dynamite: Press the Up Arrow (↑) key after grabbing something you don't want.
How to Play Gold Miner
The claw swings back and forth. Time your drop to grab gold nuggets, bags, or diamonds.
Big items like massive gold chunks or boulders take longer to pull up. Small gold is quicker but not as valuable.
Each level has a timer and a money goal. Make smart grabs to beat the goal before time runs out.
If you accidentally hooked a rock, press the up arrow to blow it up with dynamite. Dynamite is limited and costs money to restock.
Explore the Shop
Between levels, you'll stop by a small in-game shop where you can spend your gold money on helpful items. Here's what you can find:
- Dynamite ($51): If you grab a rock or something slow and not worth the trouble, toss dynamite to blow it up. It can save your level, especially near the end when every second counts.
- Lucky Clover ($14): This item boosts your chances of getting something valuable from the mystery bags (the ones with question marks). Only lasts for one level but it can pay off fast if you go after those bags.
- Diamond Polish ($286): Makes diamonds worth more during the next level. It's expensive, but if there are diamonds on the map, it can really boost your score.
