Controls

Mouse Drag: Click and drag to look around from your starting point.
Street Movement: Move further down streets or paths by clicking the arrows you see on the screen.
Scroll Wheel: Zoom in or out to catch key details like license plates or street names.
Map Guess: Pin your best guess on the small map in the corner to see how close you are.

How to Play Global Guesser

First, click the settings button to choose a custom username. You can switch between Google Maps and OpenStreet Maps here.
Hit the single-player to practice solo or multiplayer to challenge others online.
You have five rounds to collect 25.000 points. Each round, the game automatically transports you to a random place. It could be anywhere in the world!
Look around and use every detail to guess where you're. You can make use of written language on signs, building styles, the shape of traffic signs, weather, and more.
There's a map in the lower right corner. Zoom in and click to mark your guess. If you need some help, click on the hint button to narrow down the area.
Lastly, click on the guess button to submit your guess.
The closer your guess, the more points you’ll rack up. Try to get the highest score over five rounds! If multiplayer, try to guess in 15 seconds in each round.

Global Guesser Online, inspired by the hugely popular GeoGuessr, has quickly become one of my favorite games on OnlineGames.io. It's amazing how geography can be so much fun. It wasn't my favorite class in school. Anyway, in fact, geography-guessing games have become so popular that they have turned into real e-sports! Now, there are official tournaments, online leagues and rankings, and even professional players who compete to guess places faster and more accurately than anyone else. Watching these master players on YouTube is crazy. Some of them pick the exact street in less than five seconds. Honestly, that blows my mind every time! It's funny how I often find myself asking, "But HOW?" repeatedly, LOL!

So, one time I found myself on an empty street somewhere that felt a bit like Eastern Europe. I don't know if it's a gut feeling or the buildings and the weather pointed that to me. Then, I quickly noticed some street signs with letters like “Ę” and “Ł,” which made me think about Poland. But then, as I looked around, I saw some mountains and buildings that didn’t exactly match. I was confused but decided to trust my first guess. Turns out I was about 200 kilometers off. Not terrible, but not great either. Moments like these remind me that even when you feel confident, the world always has more secrets to share. So, why don't you take a world tour in the comfort of your couch?
